This agreement, which stems from the scientific collaborations of Dr. Mohammad Reza Shahbazbaghiyan, a faculty member of Tarbiat Modares University, with Jordanian scholars in the field of water diplomacy, will pave the way for strengthening bilateral cooperation in various academic and research domains. According to the agreement, signed by Dr. Mohammad Javan, Vice President for Research of Tarbiat Modares University, and Dr. Ahmad Al-Ajlouni, Vice President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, the two universities will collaborate in multiple areas, including faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects, publication of scientific papers, organization of seminars and academic meetings, exchange of academic resources, joint supervision of graduate students, and short-term training programs. It is worth mentioning that Jordan University of Science and Technology holds the top national ranking in Jordan. This five-year agreement marks a significant step in strengthening scientific diplomacy and expanding international cooperation at Tarbiat Modares University. Given the expertise and experience of both universities, particularly in water resources management, this collaboration is expected to yield valuable outcomes for both countries.
